When requesting an appraisal, please include a short synopsis, your target audience, and a sample chapter or 5,000 words. This helps us provide a considered initial response with estimated timescales and likely scope. Our responses aim to be prompt and practical: we typically confirm receipt within two business days and follow up with a proposed next step or a date for a short call if a project requires detailed discussion. If your enquiry is time-sensitive, indicate preferred dates and we will prioritise scheduling where possible. We strive to be transparent about pricing and turnaround so authors can make informed decisions without surprises.
How to reach us
Our studio is based in central London. For most enquiries email is the quickest way to reach us and ensures we have written details of your request. Phone calls are welcome for short queries or to arrange consultations, and we can schedule video calls for detailed project discussions. If you prefer in-person meetings these are available by appointment only; please include several date options in your message so we can confirm availability. We maintain clear records of project scopes and schedules and provide a named contact for every engagement so authors know who to approach for progress updates and approvals. Our standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 17:30 (UK time). Messages received outside these hours are reviewed the next working day.
